Once again this year, FIELAX supported the Mathematics Department’s soccer team at the University of Bremen’s university-wide soccer tournament. On July 11, 2026, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., a total of 16 teams from various degree programs competed against one another. With 166 players and numerous spectators, the tournament attracted a total of over 200 participants.

The FIELAX-sponsored team delivered a strong performance across the board. After an undefeated group stage—featuring a 1–0 win and two 1–1 draws—the team qualified for the top division. There, they advanced to the quarterfinals after a 0–0 draw, winning 2–0 in a penalty shootout. They also won the semifinal 3-2 in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw. In the final, the team left nothing to chance and defeated the Management and Production Engineering team decisively, 4-1.
