VibroHeat: New system to measure in-situ thermal conductivities in harsh sediments
On initiative of FUGRO-OSAE and FUGRO-Consult Greifswald, FIELAX has adapted their well-established Heat Flow measuring System to a type VKG6 Vibrocorer. The combined system allows retreiving sediment cores of up to 5,5m length and measure in-situ thermal gradients and thermal conductivities in ONE GO.
