On initiative of FUGRO-OSAE and FUGRO-Consult Greifswald, FIELAX has adapted their well-established Heat Flow measuring System to a type VKG6 Vibrocorer. The combined system allows retreiving sediment cores of up to 5,5m length and measure in-situ thermal gradients and thermal conductivities in ONE GO. The prize is awarded annually by the Society for Geodesy, Geo-Information and Land Management - DVW e.V - for the best graduate in the field of surveying at the various German universities. In 2010 the FIELAX employee Mathias Tröbs won the prize at the TU Berlin. Congratulations!
