The research vessel HEINCKE of the Alfred Wegener Institute is regularly sailing the North Sea and the North Atlantic. Temperature and salinity of the surface seawater is measured continuously during these voyages. FIELAX has been processing these data since 2015. In December 2019, a colorful mix of fruit trees was planted on the unpaved part of our yard. In the long term, this initiative aims to provide food, shelter and shade for employees, insects and birds.Only two years later the first harvest can already be looked forward to.
